Dear Friends:
Perhaps you may know Neeraj. He is an active lifestyle and hospitality industry enthusiast. Also, he sincerely believes in the efforts of organizations like Children International. Therefore, he is training for a San Francisco Half Marathon and raising financial support for the Bay Area chapter of Children International.
Please support him to drive real, lasting change to children living in poverty. You can create an oasis of hope for children in the middle of a slum they call home. Shahabad Dairy is home to more than 21,000 families crammed into six blocks in the northwest part of Delhi, India, near Rohini. Most of the residents have lived in the area for the past 25 years after being evicted from government and private lands in Delhi. The area is characterized by poor infrastructure and crowded living conditions. The resettlement colony lacks basic amenities, facilities, and resources for their children.
Children International has plans to develop The Shahabad Dairy community center, which will offer health and dental services, youth programs, a library and meeting spaces in one modern and easily accessible space. The centers make it easier to serve sponsored children because they concentrate the organization’s programs and services into one central location.
Children International, in partnership with you, can help!
